August Havdallah

from $0.00

Join Kesher Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 20th at 7:00pm ET as we reconvene at the end of summer break! We’ll gather for Havdallah, the ritual that marks the end of Shabbat (and in this case, the near-end of summer break!) We’ll enjoy songs, socializing, and sweetness with ice cream provided. This event is open to everyone and is focused on KesherKIDS and young families. We encourage you to bring a picnic for your family or snacks to share — we’ll be providing ice cream and dairy-free treats for everyone. August 20 is Shabbat Mevarchim (“the Shabbat that blesses” the new month): a special prayer is recited blessing the Rosh Chodesh (“Head of the Month”) of upcoming month of Elul which falls on the following weekend. Let’s celebrate the newness of the moon and the fresh start ahead!

Please register your entire family together by choosing one of the price options below. Registration is on a sliding scale of $18 - $54 per family. No one will be turned away for lack of funds! Email kesherpittsburgh@gmail.com for no-cost registration.

*please note — Zoom option not available for this program*
